why am I not surprised that I have STILL not had any reply to any of my queries ... It would even be nice if somebody from the organisation at least acknowledged my existence! This reeks of utter contempt! It's only £10 but it's the principle that is important.

I paid for the webcast and the Caps didn't deliver it.

I have sent two emails to capstv@edcapitals.com and I have tweeted the Caps as well. I am looking for a refund. I have not received any responses whatsoever. Hence I am now putting my request for a refund on here. Can somebody from the Caps please let me know when I will be refunded and how such a refund will be made.

Thanks

FS Clan 2-1 Caps. Hayes with our goal. Opinion ?
Bore fest ! Not helped by the ***** atmosphere in that building . Particular low not being yet another Caps player getting an injury , this time Rutherford with a possible broken hand .

I think that you can pretty much guarantee that we will be missing Bigos and Flemington for the match against Sheffield. I can also see Bigos missing both of this weekends games too. Flemington maybe missing for one but I don't think for two, of this weekends games.

I didn't see the Hayes incident but given the apparently unneutral attitude that DOPS has previously had, I can see him being missing for the Sheffield game. Take from that what you want.

DOPS (Dedicated Only to Panthers and Steelers) .. just my opinion...

FS - Caps 5 - 4 Storm

Well done to the lads! Two points well deserved .

My only concern is the amount of PIMs we are collecting. 60+ last night and 40+ tonight. It's going to take its toll and DOPS are going to be reviewing us every weekend. Discipline is the key ! I know the referee tonight was b******s but we have to learn to live with that and adjust accordingly or we will be playing most games on the back foot.

Anyhow, a gutsy performance tonight. Well done lads!

I am quite happy that we managed to get a point from that game, especially when you consider that we were playing away and that we had 60+ mins of PIMs. So for bringing back a point I say well done lads! However, we really do need to get our PIMs under control. Its all fine and well taking the odd penalty but we are racking up some major penalty time and it is going to cost us suspensions, games and points. Discipline is the key to success.

Good first period .. fast and slick plays backed by solid D and netminder. Felt that we faded half way through second, around about the time that we had some pressure and then picked up some penalties. For rest of second and most of third we were chasing the cows tail so to speak. All in all, I thought it was a good effort from the lads.

I was there !

A brilliant game by all the Caps players , every single one of them ... imports, Brits the lot ! They were up and at the Clan from the start and didn't let the heads go down when they went down to Clans first goal. The D looked solid, the passes from the D to the O where spot on. The O was fast and furious. The O back checked hard. Chubak was rock solid.

Fantastic game.

On a side note , it's nice to see Ryan Hayes topping the list of EIHL points scorers.

On a side note, it's also nice to see Jacob Johnston at no 9, Paul Zanette at no 30, David Rutherford at 39 and Everett Sheen at 40.

well thank goodness for that ...... A WIN !

When we went 3-0 up I thought 'at last' but in true Caps style we almost managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. In patches I thought the boys played really well. In other patches I thought we were OK and in the remainder I thought we struggled to hold our own. Some good stuff going forward, some silly mistakes and stupid penalties. But hey ho, we WON and that is what it is all about. maybe the now the team will pick up and start moving forward.

Good job guys.

Stand outs .... Hayes, Chubak and tonight, Flemmington.

There is a post match interview with Riley up on Twitter . It makes for interesting listening , particular the implication that if things don't improve pretty soon Scott Neil is going to make decisions

I hope the link works ----- THE INTERVIEW

I mostly agree with LightningCap in that there were positives and negatives throughout tonights performance . I thought that we were good in the first and managed to keep with the Giants and occasionally outplayed them. We then faded in the second and the game ebbed away from us. We rallied in the third but by then it was all a little bit too late. I also thought that we were, on occasion, unlucky in front of net.

I disagree with LightningCap's point that we did not see the 'hard hitting hockey' we were promised because, and it is just my opinion, I genuinely thought that the team did deliver some good, solid checks; Bigos on the boards in the first in our defensive end and Hayes, I think, open ice in the third were just a few of the ones I saw.

Having said all of that, we are four games in and still no win and 26 goals conceded. I know its early doors but winning is a habit and so is losing.

'mon the Caps

I'm not going to single out any particular Caps player but will say that I felt that we kept with Flyers for most of the game and at some points we looked better than them. I will add that half way through the second period and for large parts of the third we appeared to loose our legs and that was when the game got away from us.

Far more positives than negatives and with three imports to come, the future is bright. Or at least a lot brighter than it was last year

and STILL nobody from the organisation can tell us who will actually be icing ...

more than likely fans are going to part with 17 or so to watch bits and pieces of a team in what is effectively a training match ..

If memory serves me correctly, then you now need to go into the Caps website and buy your ticket. At the checkout stage you will be asked for discount offer. You out your groupon code in there and it wipes out the cost of the ticket. Somebody will correct me if wrong,
