Nottingham have tied down Robert Farmer and Robert Lachowicz. A few of their guys are entering the second year of their contracts (Jeff Brown, Dan Spang).

Out of Nottingham go Alex Nikiforuk and Matt Carter to France, long-time back-up Dan Green, Miika Wiikman, Brad Moran (retired), and Chris Lawrence.

Nottingham have signed three U23s. Back-up goalie Sam Gospel from Telford Tigers, defenceman Joshua Tetlow from Bracknell Bees and forward Jordan Kelsall from Swindon Wildcats.

It's all change in Coventry. Leaving the club are goalie Brian Stewart, defencemen Marc Cantin, Shawn Boutin, Josh Godfrey and Jim Jorgensen. Forwards T.J. Syner, Matt Marquardt and Barry Almeida also leave, while Ben Davies has joined Guildford Flames. Forward Russell Cowley has retired and enforcer Garrett Klotz has also left.

Justin Faryna has left Dundee as has defenceman Craig Moore, the latter joining Cardiff Devils. Dundee have signed forward Adam Harding from Manchester Storm though.

Fife have lost Ric Jackman to retirement and goalie Shane Owen, while coach Todd Dutiaume has re-signed for next season.

Braehead have lost Matt Keith while Alex Leavitt has retired. Michal Zajkowski has also left Clan.

Belfast have lost forward Mike Forney, while player/coach Derrick Walser has left. Rumour has it captain Adam Keefe will be their new coach.

Guildford Flames have re-signed defenceman Kevin Phillips.

Manchester Storm have lost forward Mark Heatley.

Happy Dingle is away from Fife, good player, they will be disappointed as with Owen away as well that's arguably their 2 biggest players left.

From our point of view, seen a few folk on Social Media saying that they want signing/coach news. Looking back to last season, I can see from Evening News website that we didn't get Dobron announced until around the 26th of May, with Wilgosh being the first player signed a couple of days later.

Expecting it all to start kicking off around the same time.

Fair play to him.

Seeing Dundee are due a signing today by the look of things.

With some players moving from team to team inter-division, can anybody see players from elsewhere in the EIHL coming our way? Personally I wouldn't say so.

Eliteprospects-- Dobron signs for Brest

Beat me to it!

My initial reaction is relief. I like Dobs, I think in his day he was excellent. But last season he was far from on point defensively, I don't think he hit the coaching on the head either and with all the out bursts he had on the ice and other players when often he was in the wrong then I wouldn't imagine he would have had the locker room.

We tried it, it didn't work. Let's kick on.

Spoke with someone from the club the other day, I understand we have just started speaking with people after all the unknowns around our status as a club. Nothing close to happening to my knowledge so might have another couple of weeks to wait. I reckon with our issues that we've faced we will be cutting it right down to the wire to get a full squad place by 1st game.
