So gutting. What is going on?

The Zanette, Gerling, Lukacevic line was about the only good thing we had left.

So much for doing an MBA would keep him! Just close the club, it is an utter embarrassment

And don't waste money on second rate replacements. Let's lose with dignity and support Emmo and the players who stay.

It's just like the bad winter 5 years ago all over again with all the good imports walking away! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

What is the point of Edinburgh hockey?
Total embarrassment of a hockey club. We'd be as well not bothering!

The sound of silence is deafening from the management (IMG:style_emoticons/default/angry.gif)

We need answers and we need them now as we have not had a replacement for Rutherford, Emmo and Johnson are out probably for the rest of the season and now Zanette leaves!!! C'mon Scott the least you can do is let the fans know if we are signing anyone else or are the fans just expected to put up whit this shambles for the rest of the season??

Roll on April get this s**t over with.

Isn't this just another example of the unique way the Edinburgh Capitals are run?

Interesting situation!

Sounds hopeful on some new players though

So given we are now about a million imports down, I am seriously wondering if I can't find better things to do with my money for the rest of the season.

I'd like to hear SN's perspective on the attraction of the product to paying customers for the rest of the season given our current plight? Are we in financial trouble? Why are we being so reactive?

If, as the article says, this has been on the table for a while, what on earth were the club doing by not taking the time to line up an immediate replacement?

I spent lots of money 5 years ago watching a valiant band of hard working players getting regularly stuffed because everyone else had left. I salute our remaining players and their professionalism to keep going under what must be challenging circumstances for them, we need extra players in now to bolster the team and give the fans something semi decent to watch.

I'm now the most disheartened I've ever been about our prospects. Truly sad times.

Anyone for Dobron?

Pity this couldnt be released BEFORE we knew he was away. Absolutely **** poor from the team.

Looks like we've chucked the season, despite the noises being made from the coach and owner. If they've chucked it, perhaps the fans should as well?

Full marks to Zanette. A pity we didn't have a lot more like him . Gerling ,Dickin and others excepted, as they've been very loyal, Sounds good and sensible in principal. We as a club seem to be a bit reactive though!

The PR from the other team was supposed to come out TOMORROW!
Not sure what happened on that front but it left us on the back foot
