Couldn't care about the huge score, that game was lost by Kyle Flemmington at the end for that stupid stupid hit leading to the 2+10. Im sorry but we know the defense is the problem this year but we NEED players that we do have to possess a bit of f*king savvy.

If you are scoring 9 goals at home, in fact scratch that, if you are scoring 9 goals anywhere, you shouldnt be walking out with any less than 2 points.

Yes I'm afraid the 2+10 cost us the game. We do have a D, don't we?

UTTER UTTER mince, yes, Flemington was at fault for the 2+10 but the worst was Emmerson. It seemed that every shift he was on Stars looked like scoring or did score. I counted him on for 8 goals. Credit to the Stars for not giving up and giving us a bloody nose through determination. ASch well, cannot win em all.

Just reiterating what others have said, but the Flemington-Emmerson D pairing is horrendous, they were on the ice for almost all of the even strength goals against and any other team/league they'd have been benched. I've no idea why Emmerson has paired himself with Flemington, they really don't work together.

Chubak needs to stop focusing on kicking the nets off and start focusing on saving the puck instead. It was getting ridiculous tonight.

That was a brutal game to watch, at 8-5 we should have shut them down.

Why can't this team hold onto a lead?? Two weeks in a row now we have let a 2 goal and 3 goal lead slip, when we get in front the guys fall asleep. WAKEN UP GUYS YOU NEED TO PLAY FOR 60MINS!!!!

I feel sorry for Chubak as his D leave him high and dry every week, Johnson & Bigos need to stop going forward or if they do, they need to make sure their teammates have dropped back to protect the goalie. We need to sign a stay at home defender as what he have just now is simply not good enough.

Rutherford needs to start passing the puck, he is becoming too greedy and is costing us goals by not passing to his teammates who are open. He ranted in the bar last week about if we lose a play off place it's the time-keepers fault, well actually it's not, it's the team's fault for not being able to hold onto leads in a game.

Rant over.

Agree with everything you say Loppy. What a stupid thing for Rutherford to say. How about the endless shorthanded goals? How about being 3 nil up and losing the game or even drawing it with 1 minute to go and then giving away another goal? How about the hundreds of stupid penalties we took at the start of the season? How about him not passing? How about losing countless times to conference teams? These are the things which have lot us points, blaming it on last week's scenario is a cop out. And IMO, McCallum is as much at fault for not registering that he was going to be out for the rest of the game. People need to move on from last week and focus on what went wrong this week. Chubak had a bit of a shocker but he was left out to dry by the D and the forwards did not need to attack like they did in the 3rd.

This is a GREAT team which can do GREAT things and we deserve to be mid table but i fear silly mistakes are going to see us drop as the others catch up.

Onwards to next week.

They have at least one stay at home D that Emmerson and Co seem reluctant to give a shift to. Of course they are falling short defensively in the third when they're basically playing two lines of D men for the vast majority of a game.

Is no one prepared to talk about how badly some of the Brits on the team are under utilised? Especially when they're putting in decent shifts on the odd occasion where they do get on. Even just to give more frequent breaks to some of the imports.
I'll admit to being a little biased there but Emmerson could do with benching himself in favour of some of the other boys with performances like last night...

On a lighter note, how long 'til I get to bid on one of those jerseys from last night? Thought they were superb!
